I don’t know much about fighting games, I apologize for my ignorance… not. The longer you charge the attack, the more outrageous the object is that she throws at her opponent. My favorite example of this is with Tesse.

One of the quirks of the game is chargeable hadoukens. The game plays similar to Street Fighter, with plenty of familiar button combinations for the characters. So those are all the (playable) characters of Waku Waku 7. Hoping to one day be accepted by either world, he decides to track cursed entities that plague both his home and the surface realm. Slash is a mysterious demon who is the black sheep of his kind: he hunts demons and likes humans. There’s probably a lot of Rule 34 of her too, but I don’t care about that kind of stuff, just wanted to put that potential image in your head, that’s all. The tank can do all sorts of crazy shit, but I don’t really remember what. Politank Z is a tank (duh) piloted by Chojuro and Hamusuke, two police officers. Mauru is uh… a… purple rabbit thing… and uh… he fights while carrying this little girl on his back. ArinaĪrina is only slightly more interesting than Rai, but only because I main her. He basically plays like Ryu from Street Fighter. Nothing interesting about this guy, other than he’s the most forgettable protagonist I can think of… woah, something forgettable that I can think of? Paradox incoming. Let’s take a look at each of these characters a bit more in-depth, shall we? Rai …why the fuck do so many ‘artifacts of power’ or whatever revolve around the number 7? 7 Chaos Emeralds, 7 Dragon Balls, and now 7 Waku Waku Balls… I legitimately don’t understand. There’s also an intro explaining something about 7 Waku Waku balls and how someone will gain ultimate power if they collect all of them…

Plus I haven’t set up sending screenshots from my Switch to my PC yet. I won’t be taking my own screenshots this time, because it’s difficult taking screenshots while playing a fast-paced fighting game, at least not without sucking more than I already do. I mean, what the hell do I know about fighting games? I can’t say the same for you though, this probably will be more painful to read than it is fun.

I figured it would be fun to review a fighting game. Eventually I bought it on Switch blah blah blah the game was really good the end. We didn’t have any phones on this trip so I was kinda itching to find out more about it. He told me about this cutesy fighting game for the Neo Geo called Waku Waku 7. I’m not quite a fighting game aficionado, but I do enjoy the occasional round of Street Fighter II. One of my fellow campers was a big fan of fighting games, stuff like Guilty Gear and all that. I first heard about this game when I was at backpacking camp this summer. uhhhhh *scrolls through list of Neo Geo games*Īnyway, today we’re going to be looking at a Neo Geo game that I happen to own on my Nintendo Switch. It had some solid titles too Metal Slug, Fatal Fury, and who could forget…. While Nintendo and Sega were playing the game of ‘who can be more accurate to the arcade,’ SNK’s Neo Geo WAS the arcade. If you buy a Neo Geo, you’d probably never get over the embarrassment of spending so much cash on silly video games.Īnyway, aside from how much it costs nowadays, the Neo Geo was a really cool console. Okay, let me just ask you a question what’s the difference between getting a kidney stolen and buying a Neo Geo? Well, at least you could get over having a kidney stolen, as long as you have another one.
